Single Dental Implants
A single dental implant replaces a missing or poor tooth through placing a single implant and implant crown. This solution allows you to fill a space without having to wear a denture or compromising any other teeth. Dental implants may also be used as a solution to fill a gap with two or more teeth.
To find out if you are suitable for a dental implant, a scan will be taken of your jaw with our 3D CT scanner which shows if you have sufficient bone density, width and depth to proceed with dental implant treatment. Surgery will then be carried out to place the dental implant under local anaesthetic and if required intravenous sedation.
After surgery you will be fitted with a healing plate or bridge so you will never be leaving with a gap.
After a healing period of three to four months your final implant crown will be placed.
